  • 6 million people in the U.S. have an unruptured brain aneurysm (1 in 50)

  • 30,000 will rupture each year and 15,000 will be fatal

  • Of the remaining 15,000, 2/3 will suffer a disability from the rupture

  • The median age of a victim is 50

  • It is more prevalent in women

 

There are typically no warning signs

Each year, events are held to raise money for the Bee Foundation. Walks/runs, golf and other activities help contribute to the fundraising efforts of the Bee Foundation. Dollars raised from these efforts support research and awareness efforts.
